“Maximum Professionalism - Minimum Fuss”

We help our Clients succeed.

We are a Scottish based casting agency providing crowd of all sizes to productions across the UK.  Working with productions for over 19 years GBM Casting has built a reputation for supplying reliable and professional Supporting Artists, Featured Extras, Body Doubles, Hand Models and actors throughout the screen and media industry. We pride ourselves on casting differently through linking up and recruiting people from local communities, interest groups and searching our big book of Background Artists.

GBM Casting is powered by internationally standard production software We got Pop (aka POP).  POP Chitless Techoloogy is a studio approved paperless payment solution. Working with GBM Casting allows production accounts teams free access to production technology from POP!

GBM Casting is committed to diverse, inclusive casting. For every role we put people forward who are available for work   without regard to disability, race, age, colour, national origin, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis prohibited by law unless otherwise specifically indicated.

Why is this so important?

Because, our job is to put people from varied backgrounds on screen through sourcing talent that genuinely matches the production brief.

“GBM aims to supply SA’s with minimum fuss – finding people that are available, diverse and match the production brief”

We meet all our talent in person

GBM believe in building strong relationships with our Background Artists, 2AD’s and Casting Directors, which is why we meet everyone on our books in person.

This ensures that the people we suggest are the right fit for the production brief.

We Got Pop!

If a production uses GBM Casting it is given free access to POP’s paperless payment technology called Chitless.

This is used on set by ADs and production accountants to sign out and wrap artists at the click of a button, saving time and money across the productions.

Chitless is paperless payment technology and is InfoSec approved by major studios Fox and Warners and provides high levels of security and compliance to a production.

Chitless has recently been used by GBM on HBO’s Succession.

POP software enables GBM Casting to provide productions free access to POP technology that ensures optimal work flow between production crew; casting agents and background artists.

POP puts GBM, and you, one step ahead of the game.

Used in recent productions of HBO Succession, Outlaw King, Marionette, Star Wars, Wonder Woman & Bridget Jones’s Baby, it’s truly an industry leader.

Sarah Lauder

Producer

“I have worked with Graeme and his team at GBM casting for several years and have always found them a joy to work with. Once briefed they deliver a range of possible cast members quickly and if they don’t happen to have the right type on their books they will do their best to find that person elsewhere.

GBM work to my sometimes ridiculous tight timescales and even tighter budgets and I really get the impression that they know something about the people on their books (which is backed up on set when the cast talk about GBM)

The talent from GBM has always arrived promptly, been personable and at ease and know what is expected of them on set.

I can heartily recommend them for any casting requirements.”
