We have invested in We Got Pop technology that is InfoSec approved by major studios: Netflix Amazon Fox and Warners – this ensures a tight control over everyones data cast and crew through high levels of security and compliance to GDPR.

We Got Pop make us efficient and effective. Our Looks Books contain up to date colour photos and measurements of everyone we suggest. We only suggest people who have said they are available for the dates specified by productions.

We continually respond to the needs of all productions through connecting with local communities, interest groups and recruiting new, skilled and interesting talent.

We are flexible and agile allowing us to run ‘pop up’ casting for productions in locations across Scotland. GBM has popped up in the North East of Scotland to supply to the feature film Marionette filmed in Aberdeen and Portsoy.  GBM popped up in Dundee to supply local faces to HBO Succession filmed in Dundee. 2021 has already seen us pop up in Portsoy for a very prestigious production series 6!!

The GBM Casting Team

Graeme

Founder and Director

Sneaker Freak or Alto as his friends know him as set up GBM Casting after being out as an Extra on BBC River City Series 1! He has Tim Bain 1st AD to thank for the encouragement to go for it.

Graeme oversees the financial aspects of GBM Casting to makes sure we all get paid. Just as importantly, Graeme keeps up to date by meeting everyone on our books, being involved in the casting process and speaking to the ADs and the productions we work with to make sure we are getting it right.

As part of Graeme’s role and GBM Casting commitment to corporate social responsibility Team GBM set up and sponsors the Scottish TV & Film Network #STFN to help young people connect with people working in the Scottish TV & Film industry. The plan for 2021 is to further establish the #STFN through regular meetings and collaborating with key bodies in Scotland. You can follow the #STFN on instagram @scottv_filmnetwork

Irenée

Director of Everything

Irenée is not Irene. However, she is too polite to let you know. GBM Casting could not do what it does without Irenée who amongst the change and chaos quietly books and responds to everyones needs! Leading the casting side of things Irenée specialist includes: body doubles, adverts and costume dramas.

Irenée’s best moments were successfully casting for Young Begby & Young Renton for T2 and finding body doubles Claire & Brianna on Outlander. Irenée’s recent casting suggestions have led GBM Casting to supplying models to big clients like RBS, Tesco, Visit Scotland, Talisker, Land Rover, BT Sport and Scotland is Now.

Her most interesting briefs included finding a cross eyed bee keeper for Scot Squad and a Painter & Decorator that could use stilts.

Fiona Miller

Director of Business Development (aka making lots of noise about things that matter)

Fiona was invited into the family business in 2017 to help move GBM Casting to the next level alongside GBM’s early adoption of POP technology and new approach to recruitment.

Fiona’s main role is getting out and about connecting with the industry and letting people know GBM Casting and Scotland are open for business. Working alongside a wide range of people and on the working group of Screen Facilities Scotland she is committed to the success and sustainability of the Screen industry in Scotland. She is currently engaged in working to develop and deliver Vision Scotland.

Vision Scotland is a Screen Production Industry Expo. A dedicated screen and media industry expo showcasing Scotlands screen production community that will be running on 9th & 10th September 2021.

One of Fiona’s best moment to date was 8th February 2018 when she gave evidence at the Scottish Parliament Enquiry into the Scottish TV and Film Industry alongside Tommy Gormley!

Fiona absolutely believes “Well behaved women seldom make history”

The Office Dogs

The Shelties (Tina, Guy and Jack)

You can hear them if you phone the office as they are guaranteed to bark during an important phone call!
Occasionally they make an appearance at the photo shoots. But only sometimes!

Cristin Mackenzie

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for your help with the casting!
The quality of the people you were provided were excellent and a cut above the other agencies. Really impressed and grateful!
